Why Your Vote Counts

Many have expressed to me why they don't vote. Well, I'd like to inform you why you should vote and why your vote matters even more at the local level. It is at the local level where decisions made have the more direct and instant impact on and in our daily lives. From public transportation to public facilities and operations even down to how clean our water is when we wash our face is impacted by this level of government. These are the times we decide who we want to make that decision to impact our day-to-day living. It is from our local elections and elected officials that we make impact on national causes and bring light to issues that are impacting us by higher levels of government. No one should make you feel like your voice is less than theirs. Your vote counts much more in the local election as it does in the national election. Don't allow this opportunity to pass you by; one that has been and continues to be under scrutiny. Make your voice heard and your vote count.  Meet me at the polls, I'll be waiting for you!
